GR Korea hosted its first International Policy Forum (IPF) of 2026, titled “Eight Months into the New Administration — Where Korea’s Two Main Parties Stand and What Lies Ahead”.

The event featured insights from Mr. Song Chang-wook, Vice President at the Institute for Democracy, and Mr. Lee Sang-il, former Vice President at the Yeouido Institute.

The speakers examined the administration’s evolving agenda, shifting dynamics between Korea’s two main political parties, and the policy implications of the upcoming local elections.
