AI-generated content labelling is emerging as a key issue ahead of South Korea’s 2026 National Assembly Audit.

While Korea’s AI Basic Act requires AI service providers to disclose AI-generated content, questions remain over how these requirements should apply once content is edited, incorporated into finished works, or distributed through games, publishing, streaming and other content services.
